Does your phone support eSIM
eSIM works only on supported devices. Check before you buy — it takes 30 seconds and saves time on a refund if the eSIM fails to install.
Dial *#06# in the phone app
The screen shows device codes. If an EID line is present — your phone supports eSIM. If only IMEI shows — eSIM cannot be installed.
What else to look at
- 1Device region — Chinese iPhones (model A1xxx) and China-market Huawei ship without an eSIM chip. Korean Samsung phones up through S24 have eSIM hardware disabled.
- 2OS version — needs iOS 12.1+ or Android 9+. Older systems just don't expose the feature.
- 3Slot available — iPhones have 8 profile slots; if full, you can delete an old one and your purchase stays on file with us.

Apple
iPhone XS / XR (2018) and newer. iPhones sold in China are eSIM-disabled in hardware.

- 2Scroll to «Available SIM» (iOS 15+) or «Digital SIM»
- 3A 15-digit number means eSIM is supported
Google Pixel
Pixel 3 and newer. Carrier-locked Pixels may hide the option.
- 1Settings → Network & internet → SIMs
- 2Tap «+» next to the SIM list
- 3«Download a SIM?» means eSIM is supported
Samsung
Galaxy S20 – S26, foldables Z Flip/Fold (5/6/7), Note 20 / 20 Ultra. Korean S-series up to S24 ship without eSIM (KOR variant).
- 1Settings → Connections → SIM manager
- 2Look for «Add mobile plan»
- 3If present — eSIM is supported
Huawei
Only P40, P40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro and Pura 70 Pro. Other Huawei phones (including P50 Pro and Mate 50/60) do not have an eSIM chip.

- 2Tap «Show EID»
- 3If EID is visible — eSIM is supported
